30, beautiful and vivacious, dressed in chic attire. A passionate and esteemed writer for the Metropolis Post - a "hard news" paper. An old romantic, she's determined to write an article about a novelist, who influenced her decision to be a writer - seeking the same romance in her stories.
HANK CLYBOURNE
35, mysterious with gentleman-like manners, dressed in cowboy attire. A family man. He works on the ranch where Allison researches her story. Hostile at first, he soon warms to her revealing his past life in L.A. working for a successful architectural firm.
STELLA CLYBOURNE
60's, Hank's grandmother, the owner of Clybourne Ranch. A kind-hearted lady who hides her identity as a novelist, the same one Allison admires. Never one to complain, she always puts others in front of her own needs.
IVY STONE
61, distinguished Chief Editor of Metropolis Post. Hired Allison to become her next protégée. A straight shooter demeanor who only cares about success.
LYNN HARPER
30, Allison's spunky best friend and co-worker. She has a good heart and loves designer fashion - enjoying the finer things in life.

STORYLINE
A passionate writer, Allison Sawyer, 30; convinces her distinguished boss to greenlight a story close to her heart about a well-known novelist. Leaving the city behind for Clybourne Ranch, where the author first wrote her books, Allison bumps into a mysterious cowboy, Hank, who charms her with a flower. She soon realises he is the grandson of the ranch owner, Stella; a kind and generous lady with a secret. Finding herself easing into country life, Allison once again reunites with Hank, who is very hostile towards her but after a chance meeting, they find themselves attracted to one another. As their relationship grows, Allison receives an urgent phone call from her boss, demanding she returns to write an important article. Disheartened, she sets out to apologise to Stella until overhearing a conversation about losing the ranch. Upon returning to the city, Allison explains all to her best friend who convinces her to do the right thing - she writes a heartwarming article about the ranch, which results in her instant dismissal. Once Stella's secret identity is revealed, Allison organises a fundraiser to save the ranch whilst Hank, realises his love for her and successfully convinces her boss to take her back. Is it too late, can the ranch be saved, and will Hank declare his true feelings?
